you’re technique is …
you’re technique is also quite nice but overall skinning & mining makes a lot of more gold before lvl 40
reason I dropped mining too was due my holy priest wasn’t able to grind for gold and mats for my enchants so skinning & herbalism is a nice combo

hmmz I got another …
hmmz I got another technique which made me a lot more of gold
I rolled a mage and took mining and skinning for the first 40 levels ( I got 300g at lvl 40 with those profession ) Now at lvl 40 I dropped mining and took herbalism ( a mount helps to get up the skill fast so you can farm purple lotus in tanaris ) Purple lotus goes on my server for 20g per stack and they can be found at ruins
i’m lvl 62 now and got 2k of gold by farming primals in zangramarsh
